“Nice try, Y/N. You can’t surprise me.” Gojo laughs when you run into his Infinity instead of his back.
The plan was simple—child’s play, really. All you had wanted to do was run towards Gojo at full speed and wrap your arms around him. It had two outcomes: a) you would be snug against his back or b) he catches you instead.
You should have expected to hit the barrier.
But you didn’t… so here you were, crouched down by his feet, holding your nose—afraid that you might have broken it and with the stinging and throbbing pain, you found yourself on the brink of tears.
“Hey…” Gojo holds your face in his hands—panicked at how you stared at the ground. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry! I didn’t think you would actually run into me that hard.”
Your eyes water more once you try not to laugh at his attempts to stop your tears from falling.
“Awwwww!” He wraps his arms around you and rubs your back, trying to get you not to cry. “My poor poor baby…” Gojo pulls away to pepper your cheeks and the back of your hands with kisses. “How bad does it hurt?”
“Enough to make me think it’s broken.” You pout, hands still over your nose.
“Can I see?” With care, he pries your hands away from your face slowly. “There’s my Y/N. Still adorable as ever.” His thumb goes over your nose bridge. “Nothing’s broken, trust me.”
“You sure?”
With your face still in his hands, he tilts your head from side to side as if to inspect for more injuries. “Yeah, I’m sure. When have I ever lied to you?”
